Iowa e-Health is a collaboration to promote the adoption and use of health information technology (health IT) in Iowa.
The Iowa e-Health Advisory Council was formed by the Iowa Legislature to provide guidance in the development of health IT in Iowa, and is one of eleven advisory councils established in the 2008 Iowa Health Care Reform Act (HF 2539). The Executive Committee of the Advisory Council consists of nine voting members who are tasked with attendance at regular meetings and who vote for or against issues brought before them.
